i know about the repair kits, my question is in regards to actually performing the repair without taking the head off? recommended or not? or even possible to do without taking the head off.?
the first thing it says on that page in the link i posted is,
"SPARK PLUG THREAD REPAIR KITS.
These kits are considered "Over the fender" meaning you do not have to remove the head."
