i would just stick with a mechanical fuel pump if i was you. the pump that runs off the cam on the side of the head. ive had alot of problems with the aftermarket electic fuel pumps 
thats why i suggested the 79 tank
ok that's what i figured. thanks alot. and by the way the intake worked out great 
... but still to this day all i have came acrossed is 83's so finding a gas tank in town probably won't be easy!
you'd be surprised what you can find up there, contact OddMar, he's in Illinois he might have a 79 tank
