I have the same high oil pressure thing on my rebuild, I put in a mechanical guage (autometer). some of my seals ooze, i buttoned up some that needed replacing anyways, but that valve seems like a good idea if this bearing wash thing is true, I only have 9k km on my motor at the moment. so I think i will get one of those valves and play with it. BTW mine is a stock replacement oil pump. I'll report back if i follow through in the spring.
