x4 I must agree if you want I went indept as to how far fwd you should mount your box on the frame on my build up on here and I will tell you listen to the others on here I know for a fact that Jon82toy KNOWS for a fact how far fwd its gota be cause he works with the one who designed it so i am sure he will agree when I say GET IT AS FAR FORWARD AS IT IS POSSIBLE or else you WILL HAVE TROUBLE DOWN THE ROAD we are trying to save you a pain in the

down the road I know it is a "FEMALE DOG" but you will more than likely have to trim some of the fender and MAYBE some of the front bumper mount I personaly didnt cut the front bumper mount on my 1st gen However at the time I didnt know I was gona buy a front bumper from marlin had I have known that I would have cut the little hump out of the bumper mount cause on a first gen truck if you buy marlins bumper you will not reuse the stock mount
