wow that thing has sure changed...
ya just a little bit....

I did a bunch more stuff to the truck today after the test run.... I noticed after wheeling slow for long periods of time that the truck would get a little warmer than I like it to be so I decided to do a few cooling system mods just to be safe.... I took out the 22re radiator and installed a 3.0l V6 radiator as well as installed a clutch fan and coolant reservoir......

the old weak radiator

the 22re radiator and the 3.0l v6 radiator

all torn apart....

then after a test fit of the new radiator I realized that the v6 radiator requires more room on the bottom of the mounts and the bottom of the radiator hit my front cross-member so I made these little spacers to move the radiator closer to the motor and it all fit great!

I also used this little medal elbow when I installed the heater hoses which must have been cracked or something cause the stupid thing was leaking on me when I took it wheelin...

and the system needs a good flushing anyway so I just installed a flushing T and it works great!

I ended up having plenty of room to run a clutch fan using a 2rz fan clutch assy. with the 3.0l v6 fan blades bolted to that.... I did have to use some small washers between the fan clutch and blades to keep the fan from hitting the pulleys on the motor but it works good now

I also changed the thermostat since I already had the coolant drained and all... figured I might as well
Having a 12 second Honda is just like coming out of the closet; You're going to surprise a bunch of people, but in the end you're still gay.
