I would say with the V8 u wont need to re-gear it for 33. My wife's 02 v6 Tacoma is running on 285/75 r16 and it has the stock gearing and dose fine. yes you can tell but its not that bad, been running them for 70,000 miles now with no problems. But we might re-gear it to 4.88s just for grins. with a v8 if you really wont to re-gear it i would not go higher than 4.56's
