Spool install = easy
1 Remove third member
2 Mark bearing caps then remove caps and diff
3 Remove ring gear bolts, then ring gear
4 Press bearings off diff and onto spool
5 Install ring gear to spool, then bolts and torque
6 Intall spool into third, install spanners and caps, lightly torque
7 Set back lash,(.008 to .010), preload, torque cap bolts, install spanner retainers w/ locktite
8 Install third.
Tool needed - press( borrow a buddies), dial indicator and stand (about $30 from Harbor Tools), stanard tools.
