Remember you are talking to a baptized LDS here too, I know for a fact that LDS does believe that you will not be admitted to the higher kingdoms unless you are baptized Mormon. Of course those that do die before being enlightened, are given an opportunity to except it through proxy baptisms. Then and only then can you be even given that chance.
So who takes on the responsibility of baptizing, by proxy, the Chinese, Indian, African and other than never hear directly about Christ? Is there a systematic process for doing this and can they be baptized as a group or must it be an individual event? Is there a financial requirement for proxy baptism?
I'm fairly sure that the Catholic method of improving the afterlife for the dead involves a price tag and this sounds like a similar belief.
Is it possible to be baptized up multiple levels in heaven or just to the lowest level?
