Voltmeter just goes to any + (preferably a key on aka something that doesn't have power with the key off).

an ammeter would be a different story but voltage is easy..

I had that housing but ran a manual oil pressure gauge (electrical gremlins don't affect those), can't recall the other gauge I ran in it.

Nice thing about that housing is that any gauge will fit right into it..
