Are you sure all the bolts are out?
Also sometimes the alignment pins are a bit sticky.
If the bolts are out, push it sideways and you should get a little gap between tranny and engine.
Stick screwdriver in gap and move it sideways the otherway.
You could also try a come-along, either by itself or with the screwdrivers....
Continue sticking bigger things in the gap and walk it off by moving it back and forth.
ive done this with good results when the throwout is sticky/damaged
