Seriously, nobody would do that.  :slap: Why even think that? Offroading is a hobby of breakage. Plus, anyone who knows how to open up the fill plug and knows what a piece of something would do to your diff wouldn't do that. That's more trouble than somebody is willing to go to for a chuckle.

Maybe you damaged it somehow in the wreck, and driving all the way to Hot Springs did it in?  :headscratch:
thats all i can think of,  i even pulled the carrier apart to see if one of the spider gears bit the dirt or if the "missing" part/object was in there but i didnt find anything,  there was a good bit of metal shavings in the oil
