contact engnbldr@engnbldr.com he owns an awesome machine shop, and has a good experience base with the R toyota series engines.... he will at least give you technical advice...... have you tried giving LCE a call and see what they say?
true he knows alot about the R engine  BUT 

how do you expect him to give an edjucated answer to a question about a cam he probably has no experience with since his  biggest cam is only .430 lift
