I took pictures, theyll be up in a few minuteshow about specific bandages like knuckle or fingertip those work real well instead of the rectangle ones
how about a tube of neosporum instead
glad to see no burn cream .... more people are alergic to that than they know
how about some saline solution and an eye wash cup ? we all get stuff in our eye from time to time on the trail.
maybe a CPR breather thinginy ( )
I can look into the bandages and see what i find.
The tube of neosporin would be a definite thing to add, along with a full tube of good blistex chapstick
I cant count the times i forgot my chapstick and had dry chappy lips all weekend.
Ill check on the eyewash, i think ive seen squeeze bottles of eye wash, as long as its not too big to fit in the pack easily
I definetly want to add a instruction card on CPR and some other handy life-saving techniques, and it already comes with a small book of basic bandage techniques and what not.
Unfortunatly, the kit does have 4 small things of burn ointment. I dont know if its the highly allergic kind or not. Something ill look into.
Ive also been looking into Military grade MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat)
those are a little pricey arent they the cheapest I have seen have been 75 bucks a case
Yes, theyre a little pricey, i can get by the case and keep the price down around $8-9 per meal.
Theyre really high in good calories that give you energy, (think military and hiking 40 miles) so you can actually snack on one all day long and stay full and energetic. They also come with their own food heating element that you just add water to. A good hot meal could be invaluable if you were stuck in the snow or something.
Thanks for the great input!
