Liver is pretty common to find "spots". Most are completley benign and don't mean anything. Hope your doc also ran some liver function studies to be sure everything is "working" the way it's supposed to. How did they find the "spot"? was she having some symptoms that made your doc think there was a problem with the liver, or was it an incidental finding? If it was incidental, I wouldn't worry too much until you get the results 'cause it probably doesn't mean anything significant.
