When a friend rolled his '87 we just used a high-lift jack and some wooden blocks to push the roof up to a reasonable level where we could fine tune it with hammers. The windshield guy was having so much fun watching us pound it out that he didn't seem to mind the extra time it took to fit it a few times to get it right. That was 2 years ago and it is still in place much to my surprise.
