i've seen this done on a lot of desert racing trucks... and all i can say is. it can get expensive with all the AD fittings, Steel braided hose and electric fans.. now with the exhaust tube running underneath it. i myself would use 4130 chromo.. just for extra protection.. maybe on the heavy side but with .120 sidewall hitting rocks shouldn't be a problem..
