sounds like you might need to get a shock boot extension kit. I think theres a writeup on yotatech

I kept mine on for a while just to see, i left the fronts off and the rears on. after about 3 months I took the rears off and sure enough there was a ton of sand, mud and moisture trapped inside the boots. so I just cut them off. plus they look :stopit: anyway
