I blame texting and aol! Both of those are teaching the young'ns to be lazy and that its ok to not spell worth a shiat.... I pride myself on at least half assed decent spelling... 
X2!!!...I got a text from my friend's 17 year old son who just picked up some parts from me for his dad...This is the text word for word:
"Peps let me no wut up wth pops parts gna b in da are in a bt"
