ok, where to start. 1. even if you have vacum disconnect on a d-30 your carrier still turns because the driverside axle is locked. this only helps you with an open carrier because it allows the driver side spider gears run cirlces inside the carrier and not spin the drive shaft. 2. they dont come with auto hubs, they are locked all the time rather you like it or not, if you hubs are not locked in than you have a problem. 3. yes aussie lockers work well in this application with no problems, the disadvantage is your locker could wear out faster because it is spinning all the time. 4. there actually is a d-35 front axle in jeeps but they are very old and some even have birfields (old as in willy's old). 5. you have very few options with the 8.25, detroit, arb, spool, and welded. as far as i know, there is not enough demand for lunchbox lockers for the 29 spline 8.25, maybe for the 27 because they came in more vehicles. hope this clarified some things
