I didn't extend anything... If you pull the loom off the harness for the coil and afm you can separate them and run the afm wires to the passenger side.  If anything the wires are about a foot too long.  I just folded them and taped them into the loom.

EDIT:  And if you just move one of the stock brackets that bolts the air box to the afm and add a simple plate bracket tot he fenderwell you can bolt it in place.  I actually just used a simple bracket and a 2" 90* pvc elbow to the stock air tube ends.  I'll snap a pic when I get home tomorrow if you'd like.
