hate the marlin knuckle kit.  not even close to being the right size, then after grinding and clearancing, nothings even left to give any support.
I agree with that...it works ok for what it is but , yes, there was some excessive grinding for a piece cut with a laser...the top is hard to get any support no matter what gusset you use because the knuckle is so angled back on the top of the ball. I personally prefer the double shear shock mount design like the stock mount
