i agree, the FJ is the closest for toyota.

I'd like to see a V8 offered in the FJ and Taco.  FJ especially since they offer one in the 4runner.  But I know it wont happen.  For some reason Toyota seems slow about jumping on bandwagons.

The power bandwagon - look how long it took them to make a truck with decent power, and still no V8 taco/fj
Full size bandwagon - look how long it took them to build a real fullsize
SUV bandwagon - again too little too late, full size SUV's were hot for so long and Toyota missed the boat

yes, they still sell lots of vehicles, but they could have sold more.  Lots more.
