I think i already replied to this but maybe i didn't you need to make sure the t-case is divorced i've seen 85's with this and i don't think you need anything but a doubler. Mines out of a 95 t 100 so all i needed
was a 3.0 adapter and it doesn't leak off the tranny is sealed off from t-case. but if it's not divorced it will bleed off can't climb any steep
