I have an 86 sas 4runner and I have a pinion angle issue. My funds are lacking and I want my front driveline issue resolved. I was talking to a co-worker of mine and he said you may be able to remove the front 3rd member and flip it 180 degrees to fix pinion angle problems. Has anyone ever heard of this? Is it possible? I know the gear oil wouldn't sling as well but, has anyone tried it before? please give info.

what he  is referring to is a hi pinion,  that is all   it IS NOT  a flipped 3rd
