there is 1 time towing a car on a flatbed is ok... its called a flatbed tow truck...

jsut for giggles, how would you even get a car up onto an 8 foot flatbed? cars are much longer than 8 feet, and would you use ramps? those load ramps and that gvwr on the axle would have to be super strong.... flatbed trucks usually have a 1 ton axle at most.....

theres other vehicles that can do it, a duece and a half for example haha (military flatbed). i know where a BUNCH of those are out here, along with 5 running half tracks and a couple of other military vehicles. i've seen 3 willy's jeeps back there, one that the guy wont get rid of.
