Actually what was done there is somewhat interesting, the guy made a longer upper A-arm and instead of moving the wheels outside the wheel-wells he just built the mount over the top of the tires.
That is some interesting spindle geometry. As a desert racer, I don't think I'd utilize it. As a pre-runner, might an easy way of keeping the 5-0 off your tail for having too much tire exposed. Ugly as sin though. I bet the camber changes drastically throughout a full suspension cycle.
