Re: Think i found the culprit
« on: Aug 13, 2007, 07:49:31 PM »
Mainly rattled at high speeds either on the gas or off. Nothing horrible though. I always blamed the timing chain, but the noises persisted after a new chain install. The only rod cap i removed was the number 2, i may leave the others so i can show the machine shop this problem, unless you guys can pinpoint it. Ill check out the bearings more closely tomorrow.

Most likely am i looking at just badley worn bearings, or should i be in the market for new rods and a crank? Im sure the machine shop will be the only one that can tell me that for sure :-\ Thanks alot for the help.
