ya im gonna probly sas it for my seinor project. but my ifs will work for now. dose welding your rearend affect street driving a lot? was your truck that you welded a dd muddaddict?
Honestly if your going to DD the thing i wouldn't make this your first SAS project. Maybe do a friends if you know what i mean, cause if you f something up or snap a bead your bu tt is grass. And yes a lincoln locker will dramatically effect the ride and tire wear. Why do you think im running open in the rear, not for my health i can assure you that. Save your money if this truly is a DD and buy a lockrite for the front, some good tires, maybe a lil torsion/shackle lift and wait on the SAS. Then you can throw down for some ARB's and Longs.
like someone already mentioned good tires and locker will get you much further that a lift will. and a lockrite from Randy;s R&P is 287 out the door. so think on it. GOOD Luck!
