I love this idea! I was kinda thinking of doing the same but with a 9". Housing probably isn't as strong, but the gears and shafts are very strong so I figured I'd be ok. That and my friend's dad has narrowed 9"s successfully, even built one for a vw bug he trasnplanted a v8 in. Lookin good man
