if you think that something is wrong with a buggy leaf then you wouldnt like a double shackle. they both serve the same purpose, more droop. i ran double shackle for a little and i can say that the buggy leaf does slap the frame more than my shackle set up, but the buggy leaf out performed my double shackles. for high speed stuff i would definitly stick one shackle
, but we dont do any high speed driving. you can build some sort of pin system to prevent the shackle or buggy leaf from pulling away from the frame.i dont know what you mean by this
Hey, how do you do the pin system? A quick release double shackle would be really cool, then you have you'r road manners, and with the pull of a pin or something, you have a few inches more dropout. I could be into this for my up coming chebby spring swap...I must admit I dont really know how the double shackle is properly done either...
