You want to convert a diesel to gas??   Define Irony... you would be amazed how many guys in the US would KILL for a stock diesel toyota.

I know that 2lt is no powehouse so your not too crazy.

The 22r/re shares the same bolt pattern as the 2lt engines I believe. Motor mount spacing is the same as well. SHould be a bolt in deal, except you will need a donor truck with a 22re wiring harness to make the swap smooth. The temp, voltage should have the same output values as the diesel, however you might need something to convert your tach signal, no big deal on a gas motor.

Hopefully someone will chime in and correct me, or add to this info if im mistaken.

This idea sounds more expensive/time consuming than a gas-diesel swap, due to the fact that you have much more wiring for the 22re than the mechanical 2lt diesel.

Or your asking about swapping 22re-diesel, if thats the case, reverse what I said above.
