Just heard about the discussion here and thought I'd clarify a few things for you.
DOT approval is nothing to mess with and very important to us.  We pride our company in being honest with integrity to stand behind what we sell.  Or better yet, we won't sell poor quality cheap crap that we don't belive in ourselves. 
We are a small growing company that needs and wants your business to grow but will stand behind our products.
