get a key code. i did the same thing about 5 months or so back. you go to the dealership with your drivers license and all your insurance stuff. they'll give you a code and then you go to the lock smith. its pretty easy. just make sure your key works good in the door and the ignition. i took off right away going thanks and it was a PITA to unlock the door but easy to turn my truck on. it got fixed for free though.
