Ill be at Goldendale come by and have a beer.  Trust me you wont miss my setup.  Ill be in in the BRIGHT 90 x-cab with flames.

Instead of building a tow bar why not rent one from U-haul?   They are way cheap.
Any way if you wanna build one Id use 2x1x.125.  You'll probobly need about 10-14' total.  Start by cutting the tube to form an A and bend the front part and the rear part at 45's so you have about a 2" togue at the front and a 6" tail that goes straight backl.  By welding the tubes together you will for a 2" wide tongue that a hitch will slip right over to be welded or bolted.  At the tail Id weld 2x.25 bad stock to bothe sides so they leave about 2" sticking out past the end of the tube.  That will allow you to use scrap 1x2 and scrap 2x.25 to build attachment plates for the front of the truck.  Drill the protion that sticks past the tail for 1/2" bolts and the same for the attachment point and your golden.

Yes my description sucks butat least I didnt hijack your thread like some people! lol
Ill draw a pic later for ya.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
