I got an IFS box for my high steer install off of an 88 truck. When I first hooked it all up and filled it with automatic trans fluid, it whined when i turned the truck on and started moving the wheel. after about 5 minutes it stopped, and hasnt made any noise since. i had drained it and filled it up with ATF because that was all i had. still running it like that, though im going to flush it here eventualy and refill it with power steering fluid. the whine should go away after a little while.
