Yes the filter could give you some grief in starting. Its under the intake manifold. The easiest way to get it is to take the passenger front tire off and pull the rubber skirting away from the body there should be a access panel that bolts on the inner fender. Take that panel off and the filter is right inside bolted to the block. Yes the job sucks but you dont have to replace the filter very often though.
