here is what the FSM suggests to check:
Float level too low
Accelerator pump faulty
Power valve faulty
Choke valve closed (hot engine)
Choke system
Download a FSM from the FAQ at
www.pirate4x4.com and see if you need to repair/replaice any of these items. you should have one anyway, they are a great help in diagnosing and solving many problems. much more so that a chiltons or haynes manual.
P.S. if you already have one then never mind
