Re: Replacing 22R exhaust manifold.
« on: Nov 19, 2006, 07:21:07 PM »
I have a 1987 toyota pickup, single cab, I have this interesting Exhaust leak going on.. its very noticeable now, its louder than the stock exhaust.. I want to replace it,

I have a stock 22r exhaust manifold, that has the ports blocked off were the EGR stuff would go, So that would mean i have to Elimanate all the EGR bull crap, to be able to install this other Header..

My question is How do i remove all the EGR stuff off my motor,?

And does anyone know were i can buy a Exhaust manifold gasket for cheaper than @$26.99  :-\

I would like to have this taken care of soon,----8MPG +Loud Annoying Exhaust+ $2.50 a Gallon.. =  :yikes:
:)
make a block off plate for egr on new header and just buck up for a toyota gasket. or dont and see what happens :dunno:
RIP KYOTA
