Yeah, I do have something in that hole connected to a pigtail like that. In the same spot. I thought my truck wasnt an SR5 cus the gage cluster was messed up (the one without the tach). So I swapped in an SR5 tach whichI dint have to rewire anything. Plus a lot of things were dissconnected when I bought it so I've come to the assumption that it was a beater/parts truck. I'm thinking the tranny was swapped out before. So i'll try it tomorrow. I do have the shifter boot off so I can see where the switch goes. but the "Mystery Part" doesnt have a pigtail connector. From the switch, it goes straight to the main cab wiring. Plus it has grease and grime on it like it was outside of the cab. So I'll figure it out.
