Re: rocker arm clatter ?

Hey guys nice forum you have, especially since its about yotas. I just finished rebuilding my w56 tranny, and figured I would adjust the rocker arms since I was doing stuff. They clatter like crasy. However after adjusting them, they still clatter :smack: What caused this clatter under the valve cover? I heard alot of people say they all do it. But surely they dont come from the factory making that noise, so something has to be worn out.

Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks

did you adjust your rockers with a warm engine??  also, check that timing chain
