Doesn't look Like I'm going to be able to make it! My truck just started making a horrible ticking, clicking noise under acceleration. Not the timing, Going to check the valves tonight (Just checked them 2months ago as part of maintenance), I fear it is the timing chain guide. 
It's loud and comming from the front of the engine. So if this is the case I'll be working on it instead of Wheeling with you guys, sorry.
Make sure one of your lock nuts on the adjusters didn't strip out from your last check. I had that happen a couple years ago. If that's it hopefully you can chase them or you may have to drop in a insert to fix it.
