Put on the new K&N FIPK and took it down to the referee yesterday. He poked, proded, rev'd and took pics. Then he said it was one of the cleanest conversions he'd seen. (made me feel pretty good).
Unfortunalty when he did the actual smog test it failed the hydrocarbons at idle. Not by a lot, so i'm working on getting that to pass. Should only take a couple of days and it will be smoged and legal in the state of Cali.
Once it's smoged and licensed i'll be pushing for a sale again. Keep checking back!
Can you send me some pics of this 4runner, I`m still interested, all the good pics you have would be great, like the engine bay, and front axle conversion.
