A SAS is way, way, way beyond my needs and abilities, but eerily enough it may be less money in the long run since I could use a divorced transfer case (e.g.

A new (used) A340F transmission is something I will have to have professionally installed anyhow. I was planning on doing the rest myself. Most of a SAS would have to be hired out as I am not a welder.
