Here's what I've found of his truck so far that show the buggy spring, he uses a plate to hold it together. I would imagine there is a centering pin somewhere on the buggy spring. The 3rd ubolt is used to limit or allow the buggy spring to operate. He clamps the buggy spring down with the 3rd ubolt when driving it on road. Some are a little small but they show the clamping.
