nylints are ok for their price but you get what you pay for. its what i had to start off with and it was fun but nothing like a custom tlt 1/10 scale
check rccrawler.com their site rivals this one with endless information. i speant about 1 mo reading before i got mine. how do i like the hobby? i love it, i just wish i had more friends that had them. and THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GAS CRAWLER. seriously gas is the worst way to go for a crawler.

but to each is their own 
i agree for the most part. i would say nylints are GREAT for their price. how much did a tlt and parts cost? The reason why people love nylints is cuz most of the people that own them have 1:1 rigs that they sink ALL of their $$$ into. (you can probably relate to this?) My buddy is trying to build a gas crawler right now. For some reason i think my lil scorpion will kick its ass! plus the fact that i bought it off the shelf @ wal-mart and he spent like $500 on his makes it even cooler.
