I recieved my 89 with 230k on it, I rebuilt the engine, Im going to build the tranny, and Im going to possibly buy dual crawlers from marlin, or put new bearings in the tcase, I think the rear 3rd was just rebuilt, so, Im not worried about it, but Im sure that if I put new gears in or an aussie, that they will get rebuilt again, oh, and on the block that had 230k, there was only .003 wear at the top of the cylinder, honed strait at .004, I could have got away with a re-ring, but I wanted to torque plate hone it, so I took a .030 block I had up to .040 with the torque plate, the stock block had a messed up bolt hole due to the previouse owners opinion, of how to repair a blown headgasket, which included using the old headgasket off the .030 block and aviation form a gasket, sounds great huh?
