I had a ruger P89 9mm. It's a good gun for home protection and inexpensive I think I paid somewhere around 325.00 for mine with a locking case and two clips. For target shooting or anything at a long distance don't go with anything under a 45. My uncle had a ruger 45, far better gun than the 9mm for target shooting.
