I am searching for a toyota turbo transmission to swap into my toyota truck with a buick V6
I have already done the switch and have ripped out three of the original transmissions G52 type I need a r151f or I am going to have to switch it all over again to a automatic from a chev. want to keep the straight drive if at all possible. because I like the wheeling advantage it gives me. a little more control. anyway I have a buick 4.1 v6 fourbarrel version from a buick regal 4 door passenger car. actually got it by mistake but that is what it is.
but like I said  I have ripped three trans missions out with it. Marlin told me the R151f would hold up since it was a stronger transmission. and I could keep the five speed my only other choice is to buy a new adapter and change over to an automatic or other type of manual but at the time of ordering these options were not available except for the automatic gm th350 or 700r.
If you know of any other combos that will work that's fine but I already have the adapters for the stock transmission and the only one I know of that will work with this adapter is the turbo transmission. some one suggested the r10 from a v6 but it isn't the same bolt pattern as the turbo or g52 is it? any way I live in NC just out of Charlotte and am in search of the elusive to say the least toyota turbo transmission from a 86-87 turbo manual truck
too much spent to go slow
too much spent to stay low
too much spent on the go
but it's fun you know
