The problem is you have a axle from a U.S built truck but your vin is a japan built. Yes by the chart your correct in your first post but in the parts catalog by vin# the info I posted earlier is correct. So I ask if you are the original owner? and if not what work did the previous owner have done? I have also learned that the TOYOTA axle code chart is not always correct quite a few techs and the older parts guys kinda laughed when I asked where this chart was. a few said you can't believe everything that you read. But all this aside here's what I have come up with according to Toyota you have a 7.5 housing 3.58 gear set and a 2 pinion. BTW the charrt you looked at is for '89 to '93 trucks.
