sounds like maybe a loose ignitor wire,  check and make sure your getting a good connection and ground on the coil and ignitor, and make sure theres no corrosion on the contact points,  also check the resistance of the coil,  how many miles on the 22r??  pull dist cap and look for a possible worn dist shaft bushing,   the jerking you are describing is caused from ignition trouble,  the cylinder is filling with fuel but not getting fire at the right time if at all,    otherwise you wouldnt have the jerk, well not as bad anyway
